NPR’s newscaster extraordinaire, Korva Coleman, will talk you through how to stack the best newscast for your listeners, how to write for your voice when doing rewrites, how to handle breaking news during your shift and answer questions you have. HostCon presents this workshop as part of our effort to provide professional development for hosts of all dayparts at public media stations across the country. We’re capping participation to 20 people for this workshop, but Korva will also participate in our November conference specifically for Morning Edition hosts and producers.
